Let your customer sing your praises

With every video, it has to have a purpose in mind.
Just introducing yourself in front of a camera and using the clip on a website doesn’t work now.

The ‘welcome to our website’, and
‘we’re professional, wonderful and really nice to do business with’ has had its day!
So, we’re giving you ideas to ‘hit the spot’ and some reasons to video. Does that sound good to you?

Here’s WIZARD TIPS number 1:
On your website or for e-shots, rather than a short clip saying who you are and what you do,
how about talking with a good customer and asking them for a well-planned but quick testimonial that you can use on your site?

But, it must be scripted and use a ‘ from ...to...’ analysis

For example:

Setting: your customer’s own workplace

Script:
Hi, I’m .........  It is great working with Jo from ABC. She has taken this company from.... to .... by understanding my business completely. The result is .......

15-30 seconds only... perhaps two or three different customers.

It only needs to make a brief and succinct point. Position three together or rotate them as you wish.
Your website must be refreshed or regular visitors will become bored with same old stuff.
(Use present tense.. or it suggests that the customer has now gone elsewhere!
Please don’t use these words... welcome, professional, delighted, pleasure. We’ll help you with the scripts if necessary.)

REASONS:
Your customer telling your story is ten times more powerful than you telling either your own story or you talking about what one of your clients said.
In a testimonial, she is far more credible on camera than you are.
Sorry, but true. If the client is nervous about this process, we’ll help.
